We are looking for a PMO support Officer for a leading Government client in Winchester, you will be working on a very large tech transformation by providing support and administration to the project teams.

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

* Provide the required administrative support to the Tech Programme

* Establish and maintain programme controls in line with PMO standards, keeping the programme manager aware of the programme status.

* Supporting the Programme in preparation of programme reporting and MI.

* Provide support in Programme governance meetings: scheduling, recording decisions and actions

* Support the Programme manager with coordination of forums and minute/action tracking/Governance Packs

* Create and Maintain Programme level RAID. (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies) Monitor and track progress against RAID and flag any concerns.

Role requirements:

* Minimum 3 years' experience working on a programme either in a PMO role, support role or as a Project Manager

* Portfolio, Programme, Project or PMO qualification e.g. Prince2, MSP, P3O, all an advantage

* Substantial Experience in planning with advanced Microsoft Office skills

o Microsoft Project

o Microsoft Excel

o Microsoft Visio

* Experience in decision-support, process mapping, assumptions logging and business cases all an advantage.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Works sensitively with others and shares information and knowledge with the appropriate people at the right time

* Proven ability to develop effective relationships and influence outside of direct responsibility.

* Keen attention to detail

* Planning and organisation skill

6 months initially with the option to extend

£170 - £180 per day
