Job Description

The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the enterprise infrastructure architecture and the design of private and public infrastructure. This includes the maintenance and operation of monitoring and reporting tools, troubleshooting and repair of the systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

In conjunction with the IT&S Design Authority, drives short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio

Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.

Conducts end-to-end technical plan design.

Defines data retention, backup, and recovery methods and plans.

Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team.

Communicate and collaborate with local IT staff as well as colleagues in other parts of the world for configuration, troubleshooting.

Advises infrastructure teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.

Skills and Experience

Solid understanding and experience of Azure and/or other cloud service provider experience.

Understanding and experience of VNETS, Network Security Groups, and Role Based Access control.

Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal.

Knowledge of Cisco network and technologies, CCNA(P)is a must, CCIE is preferred

Experience with Cloud Native Development technologies, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Provisioning, automation and orchestration.

Understanding of IT industry trends and product roadmaps (experience in technology watch).

Must have a thorough knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory/FIM and its concepts.
