This role will be based in our Watford office and is an 12 month fixed term contract.

About the role

As our QA tester, you'll provide quality control and functional testing of our next generation product ProScript Connect.

You'll get involved in all aspects of the full testing lifecycle, so plenty of exposure of end to end testing. This will include creating and executing both manual and automated test scripts and scenarios of both our newly created and updated modules, to identify any differences in the product and logging on our software or Team Foundation Server (TFS). You'll work closely with development teams, communicating any software bugs and issues that you've found and making sure they're resolved.

Our team

You'll either work in our ProScript QA team, who're supported by our test leads. Your role will require you to join up with other teams, such as pharmacy, PMO, BA and development so it's really important that you're a team player and enjoy working alongside other people. That being said you'll be surrounded by plenty of talented people, who'll share their expertise and skills with you, to help you succeed in your role.

Who you will be

We want to make sure you're set for success so the key skills we are looking for in the role are below;

+ previous experience in a software testing environment

+ good working knowledge of SQL and XML

+ experience of creating test cases and test scenarios to ensure full coverage for a testing project

+ any experience of automation testing, would be ideal

+ any experience of MSDN Coded UI, would be highly desirable

+ a really good understanding of QA and release processes

+ sound technical knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

+ excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

+ a keen eye for detail and accuracy

+ exposure to TFS, would be ideal
