Jefferson Frank are currently seeking an innovative Data Scientist to work for a globally renowned Financial Services organisation. This opportunity is to be help build and be part of a ground breaking Big Data ecosystem.

This organisation recognises that the in order for them to grow they must use the latest technologies to innovate an build a truly unique data system.

We seeking candidates who are creative and technical to drive new ideas into the industry.

Require skills;

* Deep understanding of the theoretical grounds of machine learning and of the corresponding mathematical framework.

* Strong statistical knowledge is an asset for this position. Ideally: Multivariate Calculus, Naïve Bayes, Neural Networks, , Wider Ensemble Models, Random Forest, Probability Statistics, Linear Algebra, Geometric Objects,

* Exceptional programming skills (Python, R), with exposure to Data Science/Visualisation packages such as SciKit Learn, Keras/Tensorflow, Plotly

* Preferably an understanding of distributed compute environments e.g. MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, H2O

* Worked with a cloud platform either AWS or GCP

* Critical mind and ability to challenge, intuition of implicit assumptions in mathematical developments.

* Stake holder management
