Development Team Lead (DevOps)

£500 per day

A leading insurance company based in Chelmsford are looking for a DevOps Lead to manage, lead and develop the Development Team for IT and to be the Service Owner for specific Underwriting & Claims Systems and Applications underpinning the Business processes dependent on these IT services.

Responsibility will also include some hands-on support and maintenance of in-house developed technologies and other systems.

Key Skills:

                     Strong understanding of applications: support, maintenance, enhancements.

                     Previous experience of managing development, application maintenance and service desk teams between 8-15 people.

                     Strong co-ordination skills, running service groups.

                     Must be able to implement and manage regulation controls.

                     Experience of working on in house apps and off the shelf products.

                     Insurance background is a plus.
