Our client are a global technological services provider, supplying into a major manufacturing company in the West Midlands. As part of a large scale VMware project, they are currently looking to add a senior consultant to their team.

Detailed description:

This role would fit into a wider Private Cloud transformation that is the customer is undertaking, primarily around a private cloud instantiation and migrating workloads to said platform. The project would consist in the stand of the private cloud platform, based on VMWare Cloud foundation. This would then be followed by additional integration and automation of the platform, providing the customer with an end to end software defined private cloud platform and automated blueprints for resource provisioning from a service catalogue. The role consists of the VMware Technical Architect, who would lead the design and build of the platform.

SKILLS:

Recommended Technologies - Vmware NSX, vSAN, ESXi - Vmware vRealise suite - - Create the HLD & DLD of the platform in question - Build and integrate the solution within the data centre.

The customer would like to consolidate all their x86 environment onto a unified private cloud platform based on Vmware Cloud Foundation (NSX, ESXi, vSAN), vRealise Automation.
