Project Coordinator, Assistant / Junior Project Manager, Administrator, PMO

A Project Coordinator is sought for a leading Software Solutions company who work closely with the Public Sector. The Project Coordinator will be working with Software that directly impacts the safety all over the country, this is an excellent opportunity for the Project Coordinator / PMO / Assistant Project Manager to assist in the delivery of the software to its customer base.

What does the successful Project Coordinator applicant need?

The successful Project Coordinator will have previously worked in a Project role within an IT environment and have excellent organisational and problem solving skills - this could be as a coordinator, support based person, PMO or assistant to more senior project staff. An understanding of software and specificially workflow solutions and some knowledge of recent Windows Server along with SQL (or other Data or development skills) would be highly desirable. Due to the nature of the company, the Project Coordinator will be required to complete a Security clearance (organised by the client).

The responsibilities of the Project Coordinator will include:

                                                                       Creating and maintaining project documentation including project plans, risk registers, and action/issue logs

                                                                       Being the main point of contact for customers and delivery resources

                                                                       Gathering and documenting the information required for the configuration of customers systems, including creating flow charts and process maps

                                                                       Coordinating technical resources and assisting the configuration of new systems

                                                                       Creating training plans and delivering training to customers to use the system effectively as part of project delivery

                                                                       This role will also require travel to clients around the country and possibly overseas with overnight stays
