Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Wi-Fi, 802.11

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a leading semiconductor company based in East Anglia. The successful candidate will have experience working at an embedded/firmware level and be passionate about radio and wireless technologies.Responsibilities will include:

* Develops and tests software of major scale and complexity to agreed time-scales.

* Maintenance of software.

* Defect investigation.

* Production of technical documentation.

* Conduct peer software reviews.

Required Skills:

* Degree qualified in one of the following areas: maths, science, software, electronics.

* Experience working with Wi-Fi communication protocols.

* C Programming

* Excellent understanding of software design techniques.

* Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl or Python.
