Data Engineer / Data Developer / SQL / My SQL / ETL / Redshift / Google Big Query My client, a leader in the travel and tourism industry, are on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. They are based in Kent but are very flexible given the right candidate and have suggested remote working for the majority of the role.The role:

'€¢Be part of moving their data storage to a scalable environment using Google Cloud Services'€¢Experiment with live streaming data and improve the batch processing.'€¢You will be responsible for making data accessible to various users around our business and engaging with the users to understand what their data requirements are'€¢You will lead and assist in solving challenges and delivering innovative new experiences with internal and external partners.You will be learning and working with cutting-edge tech and solutions

You:

Data engineer with expertise in writing advanced SQLAbility to work with a variety of data infrastructure, including relational databases (e.g. DB2, MySQL), and column store (e.g. Google Big Query/Redshift)Expertise in building and maintaining reliable ETL jobsGood communication
