IT Manager, ICT Services, Lead Systems Engineer.
Our Oxford-based client are seeking a technical ICT Services Manager to join them. The ICT Services Manager will join a small friendly IT support team based in staff-centric working environment. As the new ICT Services Manager you will be tasked with the supervision of the ICT services teams to ensure all work is prioritised and actioned. This includes support requests and ongoing larger ICT systems and network developments. Whilst completing your day to day task you will be responsible for managing staff performances as well developing, embedding and managing new methods and processes. As the ICT Services Manager, you should be proficient with the latest Windows Desktops and Server and able to get technical as and when necessary.
The ICT Services Manager will need be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic in order to thrive in this dynamic and busy environment. As the ICT Services Manager you will be working closely with, and reporting directly to senior management on monthly basis where you will be feeding back reports on the performance of the ICT services as a whole. As a member of a small team, there is scope to develop skills in a range of areas within the IT environment, and take on project roles.

Technical Skills for the IT Manager:
Windows Desktop experience, including Windows 10
Office support experience up to and including O365
Cloud exposure
Server knowledge
Active Directory
Basic Networking skills
Experience providing support by telephone, remotely and F2F
The IT Manager would benefit from having the following:
Previous School or public sector experience
MS Qualifications
ITIL Understanding
Google Docs etc knowledge
G-Suite
RMCC4 or similar
Current DBS check
This IT Manager role sits local to the centre of Oxford, just outside the centre with great public transport links as well as good access to the A34, M40 and A40. Accesable from most of Oxfordshire, parts of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire too. Witney, Abingdon, Didcot, Kidlington, Bicester, Faringdon, Carterton, Banbury, Cumnor, Eynsham and Woodstock are all good locations to commute from.
This IT Manager role could be suitable for an Support Analyst, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, Helpdesk Manager, Service Desk Team Lead, ICT Network Manager, 3rd Line Systems Engineer or similar.
