Fast pace SME Engineering business in Cardiff, requires an experienced, energetic and talented OpenGL / 3D Developer to work within their systems development team. You will join an established software development team as a Graphics/Visualisation Developer working on the front end of state-of-the-art applications.

As an OpenGL / 3D Developer you will be working as part of an agile team in a challenging environment, being responsible for creating and maintaining product features to meet the expectations of customers and stakeholders. The role will include developing features based on customer requirements/user stories, ensuring delivery product backlog items based on business priorities.

What will be expected of you?

* Having experience of developing 3D graphics software.

* Be willing to learn a new systems, whilst be flexible in your approach. Able to understand these systems quickly.

* Being enthusiastic with an engaging personality, someone who is passionate about their role.

* Good communicator - knowing when and how to communicate effectively.

Essential Skills

* OpenGL.

* 3D graphics.

* APIs using OpenGL.

* Agile Development processes.

* Relational Databases.

Desirable Skills

* Delphi.

* Postgres.

* HTML5, JavaScript, WebGL.

* Unit Testing.

* AR / VR, Game Engines, Shader.

Attributes

* Very strong coding abilities.

* Open Minded to learning different software languages (Delphi, C#, Java etc.).

* Collaborative and cooperative.
