Project ManagerInterviewing Immediately Permanent Hertfordshire£45,000 - £55,000Main Accountabilities:- Lead a NPI/NPD project team adhering to agreed timeline and cost- Create/monitor project plans and control performance against plan- Assemble a project team ensuring all relevant skills and functions are represented- Bring up to date project management tools and techniques to monitor the timely delivery of each project- Identify and mitigate risks- Establish relationships with third parties- Contribute to the development of extended and new business opportunities- Ensure that the project team complies with all NPI process requirements Education/Skills/Knowledge- Graduate in appropriate discipline- Minimum 7 years exposure and practice in high-tech R&D environment- Knowledge of industry standard formal project management techniques- Knowledge of best practice and benchmarks in R&D- Exposure to V model development process an advantage- Technical understanding of developing technologies- Financially astute- Strong commercial awareness- Interpersonal skills- Knowledge and awareness of R&D, customer service and marketing processes sensitivities and terminology Desirable Experience- Prince2- In-depth awareness of sales and marketing processes- First-hand knowledge, understanding and experience of technologies Behavioural Competencies- Hands-on leadership style- Effective team builder/leader- Tough stance when necessary- Adaptive when dealing with different cultures- Influencer- Creative and a facilitator to encourage ideas from people- Strong delegation- High energy profile- Results orientated If this is of interest to you, please call Rudi Tormey on 01273 862541
