IT Support Analyst, 2nd Line Engineer, Windows, Mac and Google. Systems Support

Our Oxford-based client are seeking a technical IT Support Engineer to join them. You will be joining a small friendly IT support team based in a friendly and staff-centric working environment. You will be tasked with assisting the IT Manager in providing user support for various 1st and 2nd (and some 3rd) line BAU issues as well as helping more junior IT support team members. The post would suit someone involved in front line IT support who is interested in interaction with end users.

The IT Support Engineer will need be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic in order to thrive in this dynamic and busy environment. The ICT Support Technician / Engineer will be working with, and reporting directly to the IT Manager and as a member of a small team, there is scope to develop skills in a range of areas within the IT environment, and take on project roles.

Key skills and technical experience required for the IT Support Engineer role include:

                                                                       Windows Server and Desktop OS, MS Office 2010

                                                                       Customer service / Desktop support

                                                                       Active Directory, Group policy and User account management

                                                                       Supported Windows Servers 7,8 and 10

                                                                       Password resets and general user administration

                                                                       Practical familiarity with AV systems and previous audio visual experience;

                                                                       Basic Mac support and troubleshooting skills

                                                                       Web server experience in a Microsoft IIS / apache environment

                                                                       Understand the function of network services and protocols such as NDS,DHCP and IP
