Project Coordinator-Manufacturing Sector

£25-30K per year + bonus + pension + childcare vouchers + 34 days holiday

Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire

37 hours per week, 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (4.30pm finish on Thursday)

Are you experienced in working in the manufacturing or supply chain sector looking for an exciting and varied role with an extremely well known company in the market place? The roles function is to look at and document the systems and processes in each part of the business (sales, scheduling, production, design, procurement etc.) in order for the senior management team to make improvements to the existing processes. Therefore this is a highly interesting and varied role where you get to know the entire manufacturing and supply chain systems, which is a real asset for future career progression.

My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of In-Vehicle and Workshop storage equipment. They have been established for over 80 years with production facilities here in the UK, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout the world.

This position is focused on systems documentation and speaking to all the various head of department to understand strengths/weaknesses/contact points and functions of each department's current processes.

Therefore the role will include:

1.Learning and understanding the different department's processes by speaking to individual line managers

2.Documenting the current processes

3.Working with managers to help them understand the current situation and to facilitate the improvements in each sector

The person

1.Working experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment

2.Experience as a project administrator or project coordinator, or a related role whereby you can demonstrate superb organisational and process driven skills. Knowledge of Gantt chants would be ideal

3.Ideally experience of documenting projects, processes or procedures
