A leading bank are looking for a Test Analyst to join a large regulatory programme. The successful candidate will have Test Analyst experience in the Financial Services and will have worked on regulatory projects- liquidity or Basel experience is highly beneficial.

This is a 3 month rolling contract position, based in the City with a daily rate of £350-£370.

Key Responsibilities

* Testing against the functional specification and requirements

* Working closely with the development team to ensure that the application is tested to the defined level of acceptance

* Test case preparation and execution for both functional and regression tests in HP ALM

* Using SQL queries to manipulate data to assist in successful testing of applications

* Work with business teams to understand complex business concepts and functional requirements

* Analyse and manipulate data to meet the target testing and negative flows data requirements for functional testing .

* Reporting daily test progress to Test Manager/Project manager

Experienced Required

* Previous experience in a technical test analyst role

* Previous experience of regulatory projects

* Previous experience of working in banking or corporate environment

* Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis for testing purposes

* Experience of working in a project environment

* Good understanding of SQL server for interrogating databases
