Electonic Warfare (EW) and Radar Design Authority

You will be working as a Project Design Authority for high profile EW and Radar projects, creating solutions, supporting bids and ensuring compliance across all phases of electronic Warfare and Radar Systems lifecycles. This position will suit someone who can self-task and set the technical solutions for a team.

You will have the ability to look into the detail on long-term projects that often have a 5 year lifecycle. This is a customer facing role; you will need excellent leadership qualities and communication skills to shape technical solutions. Due to the nature of this role there will be a requirement for international travel.

Your role as the Project Design Authority will be to guarantee that the technical solutions are feasible, competitive, meets customer expectations and are compliant. Working closely with customers to give technical guidance and ensure a positive outcome.

Experience and Skills:

Essential

* Expert in Radar/Electronic Warfare systems engineering, ideally in the maritime/land/air environment.

* Experience of Radar/RESM/RECM performance modelling, design, development, integration and trials.

* Deep understanding of digital Radar / EW receiver technology and techniques. Previous experience in the preparation of bids, interfacing with customers and managing compliance.

* Experience across the full engineering life cycle

It is essential that you are able to satisfy SC clearance security requirements for this role.

* Highly Desirable Experience working as a Project Design Authority
