Are you an experienced Engineer with a background in testing Electrical Machines such as high voltage generators? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity within Europe's leading research facility?

This is a post within a rapidly expanding and world renowned Research and development department at a leading University. Due to continued growth my client is looking for a Project Engineer with experience of testing electrical machines and recording data in a research capacity.

The project will be focussed on the build and characterizing of e-machines and sub-assemblies using innovative manufacturing processes and test cells. You will be testing and evaluating the performance of the e-machines, contributing to the design of test rigs, working with high voltage equipment and recording your findings. This role will specifically focus on carrying out challenging investigations on production techniques and e-machine designs to deliver high quality robust components at automotive production cycle times.

The successful candidate will be from a background in electrical testing whilst also having experience in writing reports etc.

The role:

* Working within a research and development department in a leading university

* Electrical testing of E-Machines such as generators, turbo chargers etc.

* Recording results to develop manufacturing techniques for E-Machines

The Candidate:

* Experience testing high voltage electrical machines

* Competent in project reporting procedure and methods

* Experience designing and following test plans
