Configuration & Asset Analyst/Handler

12 Month initial contract

£25.00 - £35.00

Role Summary:

The configuration and asset manager will be responsible for maintaining up to date record of the configuration status of delegated test equipment physical hardware, software and all supporting technical and design documentation and data packs. Additionally, the configuration and asset manager will be responsible for conducting the administrative processes related to the delegated hardware assets, including asset tagging on initial delivery, direct control of the assets, and management of related records.

Key Activities:

* Own the project issue register for delegated Test Equipment (TE) hardware

* Organise and act as secretary for the associated TE hardware Change Control Board

* Monitor agreed changes and liaise with Project Managers to assure their timely implementation

* Conduct the administrative processes related to delegated hardware assets, including asset tagging and IUID labelling of equipment

* Organize and manage all related asset records, ensuring data is updated and accurate

* Direct control of the assets, including auditing of their physical locations

* Coordinate with Calibration to ensure test solution, fixtures and cables are appropriately calibrated prior to use

* Work with other areas of the business to transfer assets between functions

* Collect data and produce ad hoc reports to project and programme management staff

* Proficient with MS Office tools
