My client a large global brand is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer: E- learning and development to join the team on a initial 6 Month contract. Must be fluent in German
He/She will be responsible for collaborating with a variety of key stakeholder from key business lines on how to best develop and implement learning solutions, including the Global New Hire and tenured training programs & learning experiences. Uses instructional systems design principles and adult learning theory to analyze, design, develop and implement e-Learning and instructor led solutions that support the business/ performance goals. Works under general direction.
Project Management:
* Leads training workstream in following the project life cycle/ADDIE to deliver training solutions and plans for the Global New Hire onboarding program
* Develops and manages project plans in alignment with timeframes, budget, scheduling and resources. Manages and develops logistical and delivery resources
* Partner with and manage external eLearning vendors or translations vendors for the building of outsourced assets
Instructional Design, Consultation & Measurement
* Collaborates with key project stakeholders to analyze learning needs
* Designs, develops and implements learning programs and solutions using instructional systems design principles and adult learning theory. Deliverables may include:
* In person, virtual, or on-demand (video, job aid, eLearning) material including learning objectives, simulation scenarios, story boards, detailed facilitator scripts and guides and valid/reliable assessments
* Identifies and designs methods to measure the effectiveness of learning programs/courses; Sets targets, tracks results, and manages the revision/modification process using Captivate or Adobe Connect as appropriate
* Researches, evaluates, recommends, and assists with the implementation of off-the-shelf e-learning courses. Acts as an expert resource with the design, development, delivery and integration of e-learning with Learning Management System (LMS)
* Partner with the regional Field Enablement business owner to ensure knowledge transfer, reinforcement and on-the-job application to the sales and account development teams
* Leads transition of project training to BAU training
* Performs other duties, as required
Qualifications
* Strong relationship management, negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills; Must be able to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly
* Ability to work well in a dynamic, agile team environment; comfortable with ambiguity and change
* Strategic thinker
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Experience in project & change management, ADDIE Methodology, adult learning principles
* Experience in each stage of the instructional design life cycle: Needs analysis & consultation, learning plan design, content development & continuous improvement, facilitation support, measurement
* Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Strong time management & prioritization skills
* Have a knowledge of products and sales processes & roles
* Fluent German
