Continuous Improvements Engineer

Poole, Dorset

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Share Save Scheme + Pension (6%)

Are you looking for an autonomous role where you will be instrumental in the transition of a global manufacturing business, where you can input your own ideas and stamp your image on a market leader?

This company, part of a worldwide organisation that are market leaders specialising in the design and manufacture of components for a range of industries, are going from strength to strength. With extensive investment into the organisation and consistent year on year growth, they are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the business through its next period of efficiency.

In this role you will be taking charge of Lean and continuous improvements throughout the business. The company has recently performed well in lean audits and have a solid foundation in place, but are now looking for someone to take the challenge of moving the business forwards into the next stage, working closely with all department managers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean and CI, ideally a black belt and come from a manufacturing or production background. Automotive experience would be highly beneficial but not essential.

The Role:

*Lead lean and CI across all areas of the business

*Transitioning the business from the core foundation they have built to the next stage

*Working closely with all department heads and senior management

*Implement your knowledge and ideas into the organisation

The Person:

*Lean and Continuous improvement

*Ideally hold a Black belt qualification

*Experience of transitioning a business from core principles

*Come from an engineering, production or manufacturing environment

*A background in automotive would be highly advantageous but not essential
