Maintenance Manager

Castleford

£40,000-£45,000 + Holiday + Pension + Benefits + Days

On offer is the chance oversee the commissioning of state of the art machinery and implement new procedures and improvements across the entire site.

This company have gone through a period of sustained rapid expansion over the years and now operate across a number of sites in the UK. Currently, the client is heavily investing in the latest technology and equipment to produce a quality product to a range of industries and become industry leaders in their specialist sector.

The day to day responsibilities for this will be to manage a small team of engineers and oversee the preventative maintenance and commissioning of site machinery. The successful candidate will be directly involved in implementing their own ideas and stamp their mark across a manufacturing site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a technically challenging role where you directly impact in the company achieving their profit targets.

The Role:

*Managing a team of 7 engineers

*Overseeing the planning, preventative maintenance & commissioning of machinery

*Implementing a new continuous improvements programme

*Days based shift Monday to Friday; 7:30am-3pm

The Person

*Engineering background

*Manager OR Supervisor OR Team Leader OR similar experience

*Experience working in a manufacturing environment

*Knowledge of continuous improvements advantageous but not necessary
