My Edinburgh based client are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking, dynamic company and become a pivotal member of the IT team by helping shape test strategy for projects and help teams deliver valuable features within cross functional, agile teams.

What will the role involve?

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation frameworks and developing, maintaining and supporting test automation throughout the business whilst implementing strategies to prevent defects ensuring that quality is designed and built into everything they do.

Working closely with the wider business and building relationships within this to ensure that requirements are clear, you will also be responsible for helping with end user training alongside the product owner and training facilitator.

What do I need?

* Comprehensive knowledge of BDD, TDD and manual testing

* Broad knowledge in one or more programming language Java/PHP/C#

* Knowledge of Test Automation strategies

* Experience of working in an AGILE environment

* Experience of using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Similar

* Experience of building test environments using Docker

* Experience or Knowledge of the Cloud

* Selenium experience
