Service Desk Manager
Cowley, Middlesex (with occasional travel to other sites within the UK)
Up to £45,000 DOE Plus Company Car

Our client has been a significant force in the supply chain and logistics industry for over 50 years. Dedicated to making their customers’ lives simpler, they’re one of the largest freight forwarders in the UK.
Now, our client is looking for a Service Desk Manager to oversee the delivery of their technical support service to both internal and external customers.
As the Service Desk Manager, you will:
- Develop, coach and lead the Service Desk Team, who provide 1st and 2nd line support
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the IT Department
- Oversee the support ticket queue and assign tasks to your team
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Act as an escalation point for all requests and incidents
- Help to develop strategies to improve existing processes
- Take the lead on 3rd line projects when required
- Occasionally travel to our client’s other sites in the UK

- Experience of providing exceptional customer service
