Data Warehouse Developer - York - £400-450p/d - 6 months

3 x Data Warehouse Developers are required urgently to work on an exciting new project with a fast growing company in York. You will provide technical and architectural expertise to the BI team in a QA driven, development environment.

The role will be to assist in identifying key data, transforming, reporting and providing insight that highlight performance against KPI trends and opportunities, as well as sharing knowledge of report writing skills to the rest of the team.

The Data Warehouse Developers will be required to collate data from disparate data sources in order to create a platform to create visually striking reports, and to provide solutions to facilitate business decision-making.

Experience required:

Advanced knowledge of SQL, ideally in various flavours - MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle

Designing and implementing data warehouse models

Ability to translate business needs in to technical specifications

Ability to evaluate and improve existing BI systems

Experience working in an AWS environment with Redshift Database

Experience and understanding of Cognos 11 and Framework Manage
