My UK based client are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of It to be based in their Edinburgh office.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing business and take control of all internal IT systems, deploying, monitoring and maintaining software applications, internal IT systems and networks.

Core responsibilities for this role will include:

* Line management of on site and remote teams

* Managing disaster recovery plans

* Managing infrastructure platforms and making recommendations on new products for the business

* Budget management

* Managing Cyber security and GDPR initiatives

* Overseeing the IT strategy for multiple sites

Relevant skills for the role will include:

* Experience of line managing both on site and remote employees

* Hands on IT experience working with Windows and MAC systems

* Cyber Security experience

* ISO experience

* Budget Management experience

* IT Infrastructure strategic planning experience

* Experience of analysing IT departments and making recommendations for improvement

* Proactive attitude to change

* Experience managing small diverse teams on multiple sites
