My Edinburgh based client are currently looking to add a new Senior IT Engineer to their team, with particular focus on Middleware, Application Integration and Automation.

This role would be well suited to an Engineer with strong server and scripting knowledge who is keen to further their career in an Enterprise level environment.

What does the role involve?

You will:

* Provide technical leadership for an enterprise application integration platform

* Guide the Global functional support team, including offshore resources

* Design and implement utilities to automate platform activities/processes

* Create and maintain technical system documentation including installation, configuration of interfaces, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

* Improve existing processes with solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.

* Responsible for all development lifecycle deliverables in accordance with the company change control procedures

What experience do I require?

* Knowledge of Server (upto 2016)

* SQL Server

* Powershell

Additional knowledge of the following is beneficial:

* c#.Net

* BizTalk

* Visual Studio
