Infor Syteline Support Technician - £45,000 - Midlands

I'm working with a market leading client who are in the process of implementing the latest version of Infor Syteline across their group and thus have created a new position for a support technician to offer post-implementation support.

Being a newly created position the successful candidate can expect to take full ownership of the role, delivering results in the way in which you consider most effective; you will be responsible for supporting managers and users in their day to day interactions with Syteline and associated systems and platforms and can expect day-to-day tasks to consist of:

* Identifying and resolving any system or user issues

* Producing and maintaining suitable documentation to provide evidence and support for issue resolutions

* Monitoring the integrity and performance of the system

* Defining, delivering and supporting system enhancements with business and team members

* Complying with the company's policies and controls - User Access, SOD etc

* Ensuring both IT and Business management are kept adequately informed

* Providing support to other regions

This is a role in which you will act as the bridge between technical and functional, reporting in to the company's ERP manager. You will be based in my clients' Leicestershire head office but should be prepared to travel as required in order to support implementations.

To be considered for this role you must have:

* Experience in supporting Syteline users in a business environment

* Knowledge of SQL server database systems

It would be useful to have:

* An appropriate IT Qualification

* Experience of working in a global organization with remote management

* Experience of remote Service Desk ticket resolution and user support

* Experience identifying improvements and creating plans to address them
