Production Manager (CNC)

Excellent opportunity for a production manager or workshop manner from a CNC background to join a company that will offer you an autonomous role where you can stamp your marl on the CNC production team.

In this role you we be reporting directly to the CNC Manager, the Production Manager will oversee all aspects of running an advanced CNC milling shop in a small batch / one-off manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will come from a CNC production background and have experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment.

This is a great role for a production manager or workshop manager to join a company where you can play a key part in this companies growth and development.

The role:

* Deciding on and subsequently controlling the appropriate manufacturing route or strategy for each order

*Shop floor production scheduling to meet delivery priorities, allowing for machine capabilities and resource

*Material, tooling and resource planning and control

*Direct supervision of a team of 8 skilled and semi-skilled engineers

*Achieving the best outcome when unforeseen incidents occur with machinery, tooling or fixturing.

*Monitoring quality to customer approval, resolving any issues that occur in-process.

The person:

*Thorough Knowledge of CNC milling machinery.

*Thorough knowledge of quality systems.

*Candidates will ideal have workshop/production management experience.
