A leading Medical Device manufacturer are looking for a Design to Commercial Project Manager to join their team in Galway.

Who will you be working for?

My client is ranked among the top 3 Global device outsourcing manufacturers in the world and are currently looking to expand their Design Services team due to internal promotions and investment. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of minimally invasive delivery and access devices for a range of therapies.

Role: Design Operations Project Manager

Location: Galway

Job Description:

* As a Design Operations Project Manager you will be responsible for management and Project delivery to agreed customer scope

* Manage NPI and product transfers to Commercial groups.

* You will be required to have a good understanding of the product and process technologies applied to Catheters.

* Responsible for keeping Internal and External Stakeholders informed.

* Coordination and Leadership of multi-functional team.

* Manage, coach and develop personnel on team.

Responsibilities:

* Manage Projects to deliver to both customer and company objectives

* Scheduling Cost control, expenditure, quality, change and safety.

* Manage NPI projects through design cycle to full-scale production including process validation and ramp up.

* Responsible for all DFM activities.

* Manage all aspects of the customer relationship during the project.

* Identify partnership opportunities.

* Manage core Technology and Engineering projects to meet future site goals.

* Minimize customer and company risk throughout projects.

* Drive project improvement activities.

* Build and maintain a network of relationships in R&D, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Quality and Manufacturing.

Requirements:

* Bachelor or Masters in Engineering/ Science degree or technical field degree.

* 8 years' experience in Manufacturing industry with exposure to the Medical Device industry.

* 5 years Project Management or Leadership experience.

* Proven examples of leading projects with customer involvement.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience in Validation and New Product Introduction.
