My client a large global brand is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join the team on a initial 6 Month contract.

Instructional Designer, Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS)

The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design, development and quality of immersive and experiential learning programs for American Express. They will partner with other Learning professionals and Business Partners in delivering a globally consistent training experience that directly impacts the success of our company and our internal and external clients.

The goal of all programs designed will be to deliver a world-class learning experience and drive positive business results. The ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form and deliver engaging presentations to business leaders is a critical skill for success.

The ideal candidate will design and develop e-learning, Instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual classroom materials, and other delivery methods that will support the acceleration of learning as measured by business performance.

Required skills:

* Instructional Design

* PowerPoint

* Articulate Storyline

* Captivate

Preferred skills:

* Adobe Photoshop

* Illustrator

Attributes:

* Ability to work in a team environment to design, develop and build blended learning experiences

* Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learner, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply

* Demonstrate thought leadership and the ability to drive innovation

* Proven e-learning Design and Development experience

* Strong proficiency with industry standard e-learning software: Articulate Storyline and Captivate. These software skills MUST have been used in a recent position. Candidates must be able to show examples of their work using these tools

* Visual design skills using Photoshop and Illustrator preferred

Ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential
