Production Operative - Mechanical Background

High Wycombe

I am looking for a Production Operative with a Mechanical background who has soldering experience and/or hand skills using hand tools (files, pillar, drills) to join my clients team based near High Wycombe. This role would suit a recent apprentice or a entry level assembly worker.

Essential skills and qualifications:

*Electronics background or light manufacturing experience is desirable

*Experience of using hand tools, height gauges, Hand files, Hack Saws, Pillar Drills, Callipers.

*Mechanical focused background

*Electronic soldering experience would be desirable.

*Good Literacy and Numeracy skills

Main responsibilities

* Carry out assembly of production kits using relevant assembly documentation and operations in performing tasks such as drilling and component installation.

*Observe all necessary Safety, Health and Environmental standards

*Ensure all relevant paperwork is complete

*Operate test and measurement equipment and correctly interpret results enabling inspection of completed units to the required ISO Quality standards.

*Provide feedback about product build aspects, highlighting issues as appropriate.
