Oracle SME (migration from Sybase) / Investment Bank / Front Office / Contract / London

My client within investment banking is looking for an experienced Oracle SME to assist in migrating a front office trading system from Sybase to Oracle back end. This will involve;

* Liaising with PMO, DBA groups, and local development team on migration planning.

* Migrate/ performance tune existing Sybase stored procedures to Oracle

* Performance tuning and back testing of complete system

They are looking for someone with very strong Oracle knowledge, especially concerning migration of code and performance tuning as well as strong knowledge of Sybase TSQL and backtesting skills.

Technical skills are Oracle 12c, Sybase 15, GIT, SVN, Team City and Maven.
