Our client are currently looking for an experienced SharePoint Consultant to work on a large scale o365 migration project in Berskhire.

Required Experience:

Migrations from SharePoint 2007/ 2010 into O365. Windows infrastructure background, understanding of network and security infrastructure. AvePoint DocAve Migrator for SharePoint - migration infrastructure. Resolving technical migration issues during remediation. Technical understanding of SharePoint migrations, the requirements for migration infrastructure, understanding suitable approaches to migrating data and scheduling a migration.

Project Description:

A new SharePoint 2007 farm has been identified as requiring migration into the O365 target. Of which only documents contained in document libraries need migrating to target. The project is to perform Discovery and Analysis of this source, plan and prepare for migration, run test migrations and migrate into Production.

Role Description:

Technical Consultant responsible for the testing and live migration of the SharePoint farm. The consultant will support the SA with relevant customer and stakeholder communications. The TC will work with the SA to interface with the relevant parts of the programme to ensure that best practices and learnings from the migration programme are reused on this project (from processes, approaches, documentation, tools and platforms etc).

- assist in workshop preparation and supporting the SA by contributing to workshop delivery and capturing outcomes.

- Workshops include: discussing approach to migration planning; review Customer's Information Architecture for target, security permissions, and agree approach to mapping.

- Work in conjunction with SA to advice customer on the requirements for connectivity.

- Execute migration testing and remediation activities

- Execute the Migration of data in to Production

- work out of hours during migration (weekday evenings and weekend shifts).
