Log Aggregation Consultant

Duration: 3 months + 9 months

Location: The Hague, Netherlands

Security clearance: Certificate of Good Conduct - Security Clearance not required (see below Security Requirements)

Duration:

3.5 months initially on a full-time basis (40 hours a week during 5 working days) with Optional extension(s) of service performance. (Our Client may decide to extend the service performance one or several times up to a maximum of additional 9 months to be performed.)

Tasks to be performed:

The consultant will perform the following tasks/services:

? Gather and document all requirements related to log aggregation and analysis across different technical solutions and networks

? Gather and document an options analysis of the applicable log aggregation products and technologies, given the requirements identified for application and system level logging

? Provide a reference indication of costs (man-days, license and/or support costs) for the implementation of the options identified

? Devise, based on own experience and on market’s best practices, a reference solution design to implement the option identified as a suitable based review of the options analysis and guidance

? Indicate infrastructure and operations needs and methods for the identified solution

? Provide the identified deliverables based on standards for documentation

The consultant will have direct design and implementation experience, with products such as Splunk, LogStash (ElasticSearch), Apache Kafka, etc.

Mandatory Requirements:

? Working knowledge of English

? A minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing, implementing and supporting log aggregation solutions for large-scale systems, possibly including ElasticSearch and/or Splunk

? Professional knowledge of Windows Server 2012 or later

? and of RedHat Linux v6 or later

? Professional knowledge of evaluation of requirements gathering and options analysis for large-scale systems

Certificate of good conduct:

- You must present a recent (i.e. not older than 3 months at the date of submission) certificate of good conduct prior to the execution of services.

- You shall ensure that the validity of the certificate/clearance covers the entire duration of the resulting specific contract or that it is renewed on time before expiry.
