Senior Planner (construction)

Company: Privately owned main contractor

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus comprehensive benefits

The Opportunity for a senior planner

Due to their impressive growth an opportunity now exists for an ambitions Senior Planner to join their Midlands region. Reporting into the Regional Planning Manager, the senior planner will work on an even mix of tenders and live projects ranging from £1m to £25m in value across a range of sectors including commercial, health, PRS, Care and student accommodation to name a few. One of the key benefits of this company is their diverse portfolio, so if one sector goes quiet, they have other clients to fall back on. It also gives the senior planner a challenging and interesting workload as they're not 'sectorised' like some of their competitors.

Senior planner requirements

* Circa 5 years' experience as a construction Planner.

* Exposure to a varied range of commercial construction projects.

* A stable employment record with well-known main contractors.

* Commercially aware, excellent communication and people skills.

* Educated to a high standard in a relevant subject.

* Proficient in Asta PowerProject software.

* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
