Linux Support Engineer (Networking VM OSI Debian Linux). Start-up technology company that have experienced phenomenal success in the last few years is seeking a skilled Linux Support Engineer.

The main focus of your role as Linux Support Engineer will be providing technical support, upholding excellent service levels and managing the service across over 1000 servers deployed nationwide. You will take ownership, managing all aspects of technical production support including investigation and resolution as well as liaising with third parties to ensure speedy resolution of any issue.

Their successful product allows big name clients to monetise their Wi-Fi in a range of innovative ways, allowing end users to download high quality media (movies, catch-up TV, box-sets, cartoons, games and digital newspapers / magazines) whilst on the move.

As a Linux Support Engineer you'll be working with a collaborative team of technology enthusiasts with offices in based in North London.

Requirements:

*Strong technical support skills with experience of problem and resolution ownership

*Experience as a Linux Systems Administrator on production platforms

*Experience of working with developers to make improvements

*Excellent communication skills

*Nice to have: core Debian based Linux (Ubuntu), OSI model, networking, Redmine, Jira, Zabbix, shell scripting, SQL
