We have an exciting new opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an innovative organisation based in High Wycombe, who over the past 18 years have developed a series of ground breaking innovative products and established themselves as a market leader.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the production and corporate systems, as well designing and configuring of networking and operating systems. The Infrastructure Engineer will also assist the Infrastructure Manager in contributing to the continued development of the production and corporate environments and systems.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, your role will involve:

* Windows server, Linux server and VMWare administration.

* Configuring and managing network equipment, including load-balancers.

* Configuring and managing Storage (EMC, Dell Equalogic).

* Day to day technical hardware and OS management of the production and corporate Windows and Linux servers at the datacentres.

* Management and configuration of SNMP monitoring system.

* Working directly with the infrastructure team to improve and refine stability and security of the platform.

To be considered for the Infrastructure Engineer role, you must demonstrate:

* Broad knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system builds.

* Knowledge and Experience of maintaining VMWare environments or equivalent technologies.

* Ability to support a number of databases and physical database servers.

* Experience of working to ITIL standards is desirable.
