Linux Systems Administrator
We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with experience managing enterprise scale Linux Systems and preferably virtual Infrastructure to join a world renowned and award winning research organisation based in Oxford.
As the Linux Systems Administrator you will be working with Noble prize winners, helping them manage the scale of their research across a number of sectors including AI, Machine Learning and Bio Informatics . You will have the opportunity to utilise modern automation, configuration and cloud technologies as the team move towards DevOps tools and process.
Skills required for the Linux Systems Administrator:
- Experience in Linux administration, preferably in large/enterprise scale environments
- A working knowledge of configuration management tools (Salt, Ansible, Puppet etc.)
- Experience with either Bash, Perl or Python scripting
Linux Systems Administrator
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + Superb Pension, benefits and outstanding Holiday allocation
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
