Azure Infrastructure Support Engineer

6 Months initially

Gloucester based

£250 - £300 per day

***OUTSIDE IR35***

We have an excellent opportunity for a number of Azure Infrastructure Support Engineer's to join the team on a long term programme of work. You will be working with a global leader, where you can make a difference.

Our client is in the process of delivering a Microsoft Azure platform to support number of workload including new PLM solution. Our client is acting as Technical Service Integrator to provide support services.

Key Skills & Experience:

*Support the Virtual Machines on which PLM Application and Security Systems are residing, up to the Operating System including standard support operations:

*Anti-Virus

*Software Updates (Server OS Patching)

*Windows Operating System (Server 2012 R2 / Server 2016)

*Microsoft Azure Systems Management

*Backup and Recovery

*Anti-Virus (MacAfee ePO)

*Patching (ConfigMgr)

*Alerting and Monitoring (SCOM / other)

*Reporting

*Security (Group Policy / Access Mgmt)

*SQL Server Sys DBA including replication

Key Responsibilities:

*Provide BAU support

*Follow repeatable defined methods and processes to support the Virtual Machines

*Have a strong understanding of:

o Microsoft Azure

o Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

o System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr)

o System Center Operations Manager

o MaCafee e-policy orchestrator (EPO)

o Windows Server (2012 and 2016)

o Hybrid Cloud Configurations for EPO and ConfigMgr (Cloud Distribution Points, Cloud Update Servers)

o Server Backup

Have a reasonable understanding of:

o Azure Security

o SQL Server
