Digital Executive - The Role

At WWF UK, we pride ourselves in offering our audiences an exceptional digital engagement experience. We are now working to deliver a new level of impact as we embark on an ambitious new strategy to restore nature to its glorious best and fight for our amazing planet. We need to reach more people, change more minds and mobilise more supporters than ever before - and digital communication is going to be at the heart of that mission.

We are now building a team of exceptional digital executives to deliver engaging, high-impact digital comms across all our channels. This is a unique opportunity for Digital Executives to maximise their digital communications skills in areas from social media content and immersive website journeys to email marketing campaigns.

As a member of the team you will use your creativity to deliver digital content, ensuring it reflects core messaging, is executed on time and delivers against objectives. You will source material, write web copy, create social media content and build email campaigns. You will also work with Digital Managers to set up appropriate insight and testing as well as report back on findings.

Digital Executive - Requirements

You must have experience of supporting and delivering integrated digital communications. This will have given you excellent social media, web and email writing skills as well as a good understanding of the latest trends in digital.

Comfortable working to deadlines you will be good at prioritising workloads and have strong project management skills. An effective communicator, you will demonstrate the ability to follow and develop briefs as well as an interest in the natural world.

Experience of using Web CMS, Google Analytics, and Photoshop, as well as social media moderation platforms and listening tools would be desirable.

Who are we?

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action - tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.

Digital Executive - How to Apply

If you have the energy, creativity and enthusiasm to help tackle the biggest challenges facing our planet - from the restoration of nature, to the impact of climate change - then this might just be your dream job.

To apply please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with cover letter highlighting why you are interested in this role and why you believe you are suited for the role.

Closing Date: 01/07/2018
