Support Engineer (Citrix Xen Desktop Windows). Fantastic opportunity to take on a varied Support Engineer role where you will be faced with daily challenges within a demanding enterprise environment.

Leading technology service provider within the financial space is seeking a Support Engineer. Working as part of the Service Desk team, you will provide exceptional technical support, managing user expectations and ensuring user satisfaction for all incident resolutions. Your main responsibilities will include; dealing with escalations from 1st line systems engineers, providing desktop and network support and escalating incidents to relevant management as required. You will be required to work both early and late shifts and will also be working on client sites for up to two weeks every 4 - 6 weeks.

Based in central London, you will be joining an exciting company that are passionate about supporting and developing their employees, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

*Previous experience within a Systems Support Engineer role providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support

*Good troubleshooting skills

*Ideally Citrix Xen Desktop experience

*Good general technical skills across multiple technologies, aligning with some technology within the company's stack (such as Windows AD, Windows Server OS, Desktop Hardware, Cisco Networking Powershell scripting, Microsoft Exchange)

*Knowledge of ITIL Service desk and incident management disciplines

*Excellent communication skills
