Working as part of the SharePoint Team, you will develop, test and support business applications to ensure that they meet the technical and functional requirements of the many teams within Ofgem. It’s an involved, technical role that will see you producing documentation relevant to each part of the development cycle, resolving issues and working in tandem with co-sourced development partners on the transfer of technical knowledge to the in-house team.

Working at this level will require substantial experience of developing SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010 applications, including: in depth knowledge of the SP Object model; developing Application Pages; developing web parts; customising Master Pages, Page Layouts; use of SP Designer; and configuration and workflows. We’re also looking for comprehensive knowledge of OO design and development techniques, experience in Agile Development and expertise in technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript (and JQuery). Your technical prowess will be backed by finely-honed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, plus a proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
