For our client in Essen, we are currently looking for a Lead / Integration Architect for a data and system integration project.

Start: ASAP

End: 28.12.2018

Volume: full time

Location: Essen

Remote: 1 day a week

On site 4 days a week

Project language: English, German nice to have

Tasks:

- As part of the enterprise architecture team you are a lead architect for data and system integration.

- Define integration strategies and integration layer designs and convert them into technical solutions.

- Establish corresponding standards and drive the selection/ evaluation process for next generation integration components and solutions.

- Lead architectural reviews of proposed IT investments and solutions to determine the strategic alignment and technical soundness.

- Oversee and participate in all aspects of high-level planning, development and deployment of data and system integration projects.

- Advise strategic projects regarding the adherence to improved tool sets, methodologies and best practices.

- Work with our business executives, architects from other areas within the company and end-users to conceptualize information integrations, integration schemes and operations within the implementation of strategic platforms.

- Ensure the implementation of IT trends with highest value proposition for the business and our costumers

Skills:

- Strong educational background, preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent professional qualification

- Exceptional ability to analyze complex integration technologies and scenarios and derive solutions

- Excellent strategic skills to develop long-term visions and the ability to translate them into actionable roadmaps

- Extensive architectural experience in one or more of the areas of APIs/ microservices, cloud, mobile, web, automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment as well as considerable knowledge about trends and innovations in these areas.

- Experience in an international environment with highly diverse teams distributed across several locations

- Professional experience in collaborating with strategic vendors and service providers

- Ability to understand detailed impact while keeping the eye on the big picture as well as to balance what is "right" with what is "realistic".

- Excellent ability to make recommendations in situations of ambiguity and the absence of complete facts.

- Ability to build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders (incl. senior business stakeholders) that are based on trust, confidence and respect
