DevOps Engineer (UNIX / Linux Agile Java). Global Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their Front Office Development team and help deliver a high profile project to build out a strategic FX pricing, distribution and algorithmic trading infrastructure.

You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and enhancing an efficient and resilient environment as well as ensuring the core services utilised for process management, configuration, monitoring and alerting. As a DevOps Engineer you'll work closely with aligned Support, UNIX Systems Administrators and networking teams to ensure robustness of the technology and models underlying the business.

You'll be based on the trading floor in a fast paced environment. Collaborative team environment in fantastic new City based offices.

Requirements:

*Strong UNIX knowledge

*Experience of setting up and administering a suite of development tools, such as Nexus, TeamCity, Confluence, GIT, Splunk, Ganglia, Couchbase

*Experience of network traffic analysis / troubleshooting, including tools such as AppTap / Corvil, and metrics capture and analysis

*Experience of working with Agile Scrum development teams

*Java coding skills highly advantageous but not required

*Likely to have experience of working in a financial / trading environment

*Excellent communication skills, collaborative and pragmatic
