(DLP,Data Loss prevention,cyber security,symantec,DLP Analyst,CISSP) My client has an exiting opportunity for a experienced Information Security Analyst with excellent DLP experience you will join an evolving department who use new and exiting technology.

Responsibilities:

* Facilitating the DLP service, including entitlement reviews, target deployment lists AD groups and training for participants

* Running the testing of DLP rules prior to full deployment

* Liaison with the DLP Governance group re approval of new rules

* Manage DLP events and elevate anomalous events of concern

* Partnering with external consultants to undertake business analysis for new DLP rules

* Ensuring DLP documentation is maintained, accurately and regularly reviewed

* Preparation and maintenance of DLP metrics

* Conduct case support to investigations, administrative or security inquiries, risk assessments, or other adjudicative assessments, to include support for investigations

* Document activities in written reports for weekly information security briefings

Qualifications/Requirements

* BS/BA degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Security or related field or equivalent work experience

* Symantec experience (highly desired)

* Significant experience within either Risk Management or Technology. Ideally with an emphasis on IT Information Security, business applications, and security best practices.

* Experience with DLP technologies (Network, Email, Endpoint, etc.) and processes.

* Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills

* Detail oriented, with proven ability to mobilise and energise cross-functional teams to implement solutions and complete tasks.

* Demonstrated success participating in complex technology projects with an emphasis on high customer satisfaction

* Ability to build relationships and influence all levels within an organisation

* Knowledge of general network, platform, enterprise, cloud and security technologies
