Are you an experienced buyer that comes from an engineering background? Are you looking for a competitively paid, immediately available contract role in Bath?

I am pleased to advertise a brilliant opportunity to work for a highly reputable defence systems manufacturing company on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. Due to continued success my client needs an experienced buyer to assist the existing team with their increased workload (a full-time position may become available).

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the introduction of fresh products using new and existing suppliers. You will request quotations for components and sub-assemblies, be cost efficient whilst also maintaining the required quality.

My client is looking for someone with hands on engineering experience preferably from a manufacturing background however, this is not essential. You will need to be able to read drawings and other engineering documentation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody who has relevant experience in a similar role.
