Business Intelligence Developer / Data Warehouse Developer

Day rate: £400-450 per day DOE

Contract: length: 6- 12 months

Location: South Yorkshire

Skills required: ETL, SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle Data Integrator

It's an exciting time for my client who is going through a huge amount of change across the business and is growing rapidly. We are currently searching for a Business Intelligence Developer / Data Warehouse Developer for an initial 6 month contract within the South Yorkshire area. As the Business Intelligence Developer / Data Warehouse Developer, you'll be tasked with delivering a change portfolio that will span over the next 2-3 years in an increasingly challenging regulatory landscape, and your role will be key in supporting a high availability service for the Data Warehouse.

Job Role:

Develop a stable and stable data warehouse

Bring in new data sources

Ensure the availability of near real-time data

Develop short term quick wins, and recommend improvements to the full data lifecycle

Implement and optimise ETL processes

Technical skills required:

* ETL

* Kimball and Inmon Methodology

* SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle Data Integrator

* Performance tuning and optimization

* Data models, star schemas, dimension, fact tables, changing data captures and OLAP reporting

* Access, Business Objects Web Intelligence, IDT, Business Objects Universe design, Alteryx and Tableau

* SAS, R, Python to build models

* Good knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques
