A business analyst is required to join a leading Investment Bank, working within their Risk Management and Control function. The team will focus on the successful implementation of strategic applications and also BAU activities related to projects, in order to ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity in relation to Risk Management and in compliance with related regulatory commitments.

The business analyst will be responsible for improving efficiency of existing systems, working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective process/ systems change and driving solutions across multiple business units/ teams.

The end client are looking for business analysts with experience of the following:

* Extensive knowledge of trading products, risk methodology and regulatory risk frameworks in a business analyst capacity

* In depth understanding of Interest Rate products, Credit risk and hedging.

* Strong technical capability around SQL, Excel, VBA

* Technical Experience working within the following departments in a large financial organisation; Risk Management and Product Control

* Strong stakeholder management skills

* Understanding of Risk systems and risk technology is required.

This is an exciting time to join a leading team undertaking a number of large change initiatives. Whilst this is initially a 6 month contract, the team have scoped for the work to run well into 2019.
