Support Engineer (SQL Python Perl). Do you have a logical mindset and a love of problem solving? Want to work on complex systems whilst be supported to develop your skillset and deepen your knowledge of financial markets?

As a Support Engineer at this global financial software house you'll manage and support a highly transactional, business critical system written in C++. Daily activities could include deploying complex in-house applications; managing incident resolution (from identification, working with the development team, communicating with the client through to delivery of solution) and developing tools to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.

You'll be based in modern City offices with amazing views of the City and excellent career progression opportunities.

Requirements:

*Good SQL scripting skills

*Scripting (Python or Perl)

*Experience of working on real-time transactional systems

*Natural problem solver with strong analysis skills

*Excellent communication skills with the ability to form strong and effective working relationships

*Desirable: OO programming skills (C++)
