With both software and hardware solutions, this business has recently merged with another market leader and is set to launch new and exciting products to its existing and new client base.

As a Junior Solutions Architect / Systems engineer, you will join the business and work very closely with the lead engineer to learn the step by step ropes of systems engineering from Initial specification stage through to full solutions delivery and implementation whilst working within a cross functional work environment. Once experienced project ownership with be available as well as progression into leadership or senior roles.

The Role -

* Junior Solutions Architect / Systems engineer

* Integrate into a team that oversees the development of automated systems for the UK rail industry

* Working alongside an experienced Solution Architect

* Meeting with internal/external customer and produce system design documentation

* Solutions architecture from start to finish (Supported by training and mentoring)

* Full on the job and external training on offer

*Progression into senior or management roles longer term

The person -

*Looking to progress into a solutions Architect

*Graduate with a relevant degree (ideally some commercial experience but not essential)

*knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

*Knowledge of networks, Firewalls, PC's and peripherals

*Highly motivated to learn systems / Solution Architecture
